The Kronos Beermile is an event where running and drinking are combined. It is a 1-mile (1609 meter) drinking race in which runners will run on a standard 400-metre athletics track, whilst consuming a total of four beers of approximately 330 mL. Before commencing each 400-metre lap a beer must be drunk, which will be repeated a total of four times to complete the full Beermile.
History
The Beermile is quite a new phenomenon, not a lot of competitions are held in the world. The first Beermile at the University of Twente was organized together by Aloha and Kronos in 2017. However, this event was banned until 2022, when a new Beermile was organized by Kronos. We hope to keep this tradition for the coming years!
